Ingestion throughput: measured and configured limits
In a scale test the ingest API sustained about 1,300 to 1,400 events per second with zero lost and zero duplicate events, across up to 10,000 collector identities. Elastic streaming is configured to pull up to 5,000 events per poll at a one-second interval.

Working today with a narrower scope than the name suggests. The note below says what is covered.
Good to know
The test ran in a single process on SQLite, without PostgreSQL, a message queue or a long soak. 5,000 events per second is a configured ceiling, not a measured benchmark. Measure it on your own hardware.
